Manages department personnel in the effective performance of their tasks for establishing and controlling departmental budgets and achieving departmental goals and objectives by performing the following duties.

Articulates the company vision to all subordinates and provides a workplace that enables employees to fulfill company goals.
Establishes training programs to continually upgrade employee's technical capabilities and knowledge of governing procedures, regulations, and requirements. Promotes employee suggestions and fosters team morale.
Evaluates projected work flow to determine material and product needs in coordination with other departments to ensure sufficient inventory to fulfill project requirements. Establishes procedures and controls to ensure that defective parts are disposed of in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Manages the company's investment in parts and materials, maintaining the lowest inventory level commensurate with performing optimal service for the customer.
Prepares departmental budgets and establishes procedures and controls to ensure that expenditures do not exceed budgetary constraints.
Analyzes and assesses departmental operations in relation to the current industry economic climate and the local marketplace. Assists executive management in planning and developing the company's market focus and in forecasting market opportunities and direction.
Plans, develops, and implements new supply and inventory methods and procedures designed to ensure improved customer service and facility operations, minimized operating cost, and effective utilization of labor and materials.
Maintains good working relationships with local regulatory authorities, OEM's, vendors, and customers to ensure the company's continued growth and successful day-to-day operation.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises all employees in the Supply Chain Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Inventory software; Order processing systems; Project Management software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Valid driver's license and forklift certification are required.
Must be able to obtain a SIDA airport security badge. Must be able to travel 5-10%.
