Position: Pilot positions ( Part: 135 )

Qualifications:
Pilot requirements. All pilot applicants must meet company minimum requirements when submitting resumes or applications. These requirements are inflexible and absolute minimums with no exceptions.
1. 1,500 hours total and verifiable time as pilot in command (this does not include Flight Engineer or special crew time such as Load master, crew chief, etc.).
2. 500- hours of fixed-wing time – turbine or piston. (Rotary-wing time may be considered using a 2.0 to 1 conversions).
3. 250 hours of Instrument time – actual or simulated.
4. A Commercial Pilot Certificate (Airline Transport Pilot certificate preferred).
5. A current FAA second-class medical certificate (first-class for Airline Transport Pilot certificate holders.).
6. Background experience with FAR part 121 or FAR part 135 operators is strongly preferred.
7. All applicants must meet the requirements FAR 61.56 (Flight-Review), 61.57 (Recent Flight Experience), and be fully prepared to demonstrate current knowledge and competency required by 135.293(a) and 135.293(b), plus be prepared to demonstrate satisfactory FAR 135.299 (Line checks) and 135.297 (IFR proficiency).
8. Applicants must be prepared to demonstrate exceptional airmanship skills and knowledge in excess of the FAA’s practical test standards.
9. Applicant must be legally entitled to work in the United States.
10. At the discretion of the company, all applicants must possess excellent communication and customer service shills and must have the ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner.
11. Applicant must be compatible with the vision and direction of the company and be a team player and compatible with the other company employees and attuned to a high growth company.
12. Applicant must be proficient and literate with a variety of common computer software.

Misc:
At this time, the company wishes to remain unidentified, however if you are selected for pilot positions, the company will reveal all pertinent information. The company is not a freight operator, but does operate piston and turbine single engine fixed-wing aircraft. The company is an early stage company formed to provide affordable and safe personal air travel. The company is an on-demand airplane charter service certificated and approved by the Federal Aviation Administration to operate throughout North America.

Benefit Highlights. Upon successful pre-hire interviews, the company will pay for training and qualification in the aircraft. Starting pay is competitive for first year part 135 pilots and is generally negotiated on a case by case basis, depending on pilot flight experience and your communication and customer service shills. Annual increases in salary each year. Two week paid vacation after one (1) year of employment. Accumulate one (1) sick day per month to a maximum of 60 days Company will offer Medical insurance coverage after the first year of employment. Company will pay the Aviation Medical Examination during the term of employment. Other General Information for Applicants. All new hires will be administered an FAA required pre-employment drug and alcohol screen test as part of the pre-employment process. All applicants must have a verifiable employment history over the past five years, which must include recent professional pilot experience. This information must contain names and contact information of all previous employers. The provision of the Pilot Records act of 1996 is strictly followed in pursuing background checks, and will require applicants to complete release forms. The company will pay for pre-employment Aviation Physical examine with a properly certified Aviation Medical Examiner. All new hire pilots and employees are on probationary status for one (1) year. All new hire pilots will need to sign a two year training agreement prior to commencement of any training. All new hire employees will need to sign a confidentiality agreement as a condition to employment. The company does not have any agreement with any air carrier for jump-seat privileges. Interviews are scheduled at the discretion of the company and are conducted on a first-come first-served basis. All pilots are obligated to report to work at the company offices in Dallas, Texas. While all expenses are covered by the company while on the road, you will still need to put hotel, ca, rental, food, etc. On your personal credit card, then expense it for reimbursement from the company. It is recommended that you have a credit card for this purpose.
