Qualifications:
Minimums requirements:
• 2500 Total Time
• 1000 Multi-engine
• 250 Instruments
• 100 recent multi engine turbine or type rating
• 250 Hours in the past 12 months
• Airline Transport Pilot preferred
• First Class Medical
• Current Passport
• FCC Restricted Radio/Telephone Permit

Priority consideration is given to applicants who:
• Currently live within a 2 hour drive time of these Gateway Airports; ATL, BOS, BWI, CDW, CLT, CLE, CMH, DEN, DFW, EWR, IAH, LGA, JFK, LAS, LAX, ORD, PHX, PBI, STL and SFO.
• Prior military, part 135 charter/freight or part 91 corporate experience
• Familiar with FMS and other current aircraft automation systems

Misc:
Avantair began operations in May of 2002. Beginning with one aircraft, two pilots and a vision, Avantair has evolved to become the world’s largest operator of Piaggio P180 Avanti and Avanti II aircraft.

Delivery of one new Avanti II aircraft occurs on average of every three weeks. Our current fleet total is thirty eight. Avantair has orders for forty six Piaggio Avanti II’s and twenty Embraer Phenom 100’s to date. These aircraft offer pilot friendly cockpits. Avanti II aircraft are equipped with the Collins Pro Line 21™ avionics system. The Phenom 100 will utilize The Prodigy™ avionics system.

First Officer positions are currently being offered to experienced pilots living within a two hour drive time of select gateway airports. All Avantair pilots are trained and checked to a level of proficiency required for a Pilot-in-Command. Flight training consists of ground and simulator instruction at FlightSafety International.

Upgrade time from the First Officer to the Captain position can be in as little as one year depending on prior experience level and ability to adapt to the exciting and demanding environment of a fractional flight department.

o Yearly Salary Schedule: First Year FO $35K, First Year Capt $47K, 2nd Year FO $37K, 2nd Year Capt $53K, 3rd Year FO $39K, 3rd Year Capt $64K… .
• $2.00 per hour Per Diem.
