Position: Aircraft Conformity Specialist ( Part: 135 )

Qualifications:
• Applicant must possess an FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate
• Inspection Authorization (IA) is highly desirable
• Must have previous experience in FAR Part 135 operations, to include direct involvement in conformity activities (must provide references who can attest to the type of work performed)
• Must have extensive computer skills, and experience with MS Word, MS Excel, CAMP/AVTRAK, and MS Outlook.
• Must be knowledgeable of Federal Aviation Regulations, Advisory Circulars, Airworthiness Directives, Requirements for Major Repairs and Alterations, industry standards, and materials developed by the FAA and Department of Transportation
• Mandatory enrollment in the DOT Drug & Alcohol surveillance program for safety sensitive positions

Misc:
The Aircraft Conformity Specialist is responsible to the Director of Maintenance for day-to-day activities of managing the various aspects of ensuring and maintaining conformity of BJA aircraft to the requirements of FAR Part 135.

Incumbent is responsible for overseeing the addition of new aircraft to the BJA Air Carrier Certificate, developing aircraft maintenance, RVSM, and MEL programs, and interfacing with the FAA on coordinating certificate activities.
